LEAGUE INFORMATION

The Manhattan Babe Ruth League- Cal Ripken, Jr. Division has a vision - to provide every youngster the opportunity to play baseball and have fun. Teaching them to play the game "The Ripkin Way" will assure us of these goals.

2012 will be our 15th season of play on the grassy field of dreams in Central Park. Opening Day will be Saturday April 14, 2012 (weather permitting).   The season includes 10 two hour sessions over an 11 week period.

Also, as part of this year's program, and in keeping with our interest to expose our kids to professional baseball, all players and one of their parents will be invited to a professional baseball game.  (Mets or Yankees or Cyclones)  Of course, our season would not be complete without our exciting awards Party!   Every participant will be recognized for his/her accomplishments!

The 2012 fee is $349.  The fee includes 10 two hour seasons plus the team uniform (including Shirt, pants, and socks)  and 2 tickets to a professional basesball game. 

Manhattan Babe Ruth is open to all children, ages 5 through 11. 

Location Central Park Heckscher Fields #1 and #2. 
8:00am - 10:00am Kids 7 to 11. 
and. 
10:00am - 12:00pm Kids 5 to 6

One hour of instruction followed by
one hour of game play every Saturday.
